Journalism profession is regulated in a number of ways of which government policies are significant. The publics: corporate institutions/professional bodies and other industries like suppliers of materials for news productions – also play major roles in the regulation of media practices.

The classifications for children differ from countries all over the world: in some countries, a child could be any one from the age of 16 downward, whereas, in Nigeria – a child is anyone between the ages of 0-18.
